Method
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
- Lay out flour tortillas and brush one side lightly but thoroughly with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered side of each tortilla.
- Roll each tortilla tightly from one edge into a compact log. Slice each log into 4 equal pieces (pinwheels).
- Brush the cut sides and tops with remaining butter, then roll in remaining cinnamon sugar to coat heavily.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place rolls cut-side down in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 7-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Check at 5 minutes for doneness preference.
- Remove from air fryer and dust with confectioners sugar while still warm. Serve immediately.
