Method
- Start by washing and thoroughly drying your head of cauliflower. Cut it into uniform, bite sized florets (think about the size of a tater tot).
- Place your dry cauliflower florets in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the top and toss them gently with your hands or a spatula until they are lightly and evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create your base seasoning blend.
- Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the oiled cauliflower. If you're using the optional panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese for extra crunch and cheesy flavor, add them now. Toss everything together until each floret is beautifully coated in the spice mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes. Place the seasoned cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the basket.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The cauliflower is done when golden brown, crispy on the edges, and tender when pierced with a fork.
