Prepare the Bread
- Cut each slice of bread into 3 sticks, about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
- Dip each bread stick into the custard for about 10 seconds per side, coating all sides.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking oil, arrange dipped sticks in a single layer, and spray tops with oil. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 4-6 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon-sugar, and serve with dipping sauces like maple syrup.
