  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C). A hot basket is key to getting crispy carrots.
  2. While the air fryer preheats, wash and peel your carrots. Slice them on a slight diagonal, about 1/4-inch thick. Try to keep the thickness uniform.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced carrots with olive oil until evenly coated.
  4. Add grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until each carrot slice is well coated.
  5. Transfer seasoned carrots to the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cook until carrots are fork-tender and Parmesan is golden and crispy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes
