Method
- Pat the salmon fillets dry thoroughly with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3-5 minutes for best results (optional but recommended).
- Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the salmon fillets. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried dill, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over the salmon, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable) in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Cook at 380°F (195°C) for 8-12 minutes, depending on fillet thickness: 8 minutes for 1" thick, up to 14 minutes for 1.5" thick. The salmon is done when it flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
- Remove the salmon carefully and let rest for 2-3 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over, garnish with fresh parsley or dill if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes
Feel free to customize the seasoning to your liking or try marinades for extra flavor. Experiment with different air fryer cooking times based on fillet thickness and your specific appliance.
