Ingredients

Turkey
  • 1 boneless turkey breast skin-on, 3-4 pounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Equipment

  • Air Fryer,
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. Remove the turkey breast from packaging and pat completely dry with paper towels. Let sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried thyme in a small bowl to form a paste.
  3. Generously rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey breast, lifting skin to rub some directly on the meat.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place turkey breast skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20 minutes.
  6. Flip turkey breast skin-side up and cook another 20-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Transfer cooked turkey to a cutting board and let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, ensure the turkey is thoroughly dried before seasoning. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes for best results.
