  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup flavorless oil (vegetable or canola)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups mashed ripe bananas about 4-5 large bananas
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp heavy cream or milk if needed for texture
