Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 tbsp Prepared Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
For the Smashed Beef Tacos
  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 blend
  • 8 Small Flour or Corn Tortillas street taco size
  • 4 slices American or Sharp Cheddar Cheese halved
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper or to taste
For Toppings and Assembly
  • 1 cup Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Diced White Onion finely diced
  • 8 slices Dill Pickles

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Cast-Iron Griddle
  • Metal Spatula
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

Prepare the Big Mac Sauce
  1. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Set aside or refrigerate if making ahead.
Prepare the Ground Beef
  1. Preheat a large skillet or cast-iron griddle over medium-high heat until very hot.
Cook the Smash Burgers
  1. Sprinkle generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Carefully flip the taco so the beef is directly on the skillet.
  3. Remove from skillet. Repeat with remaining beef and tortillas in batches.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Drizzle generously with Big Mac sauce. Serve immediately.
