Method
Prepare the Beef Mixture
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Use a spatula to break the meat into small crumbles.
- Add the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Assemble the Biscuit Bombs
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place a heaping tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each biscuit circle.
- Carefully gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together at the top to seal the bomb. Make sure there are no gaps.
- Place the sealed bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake and Serve
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown.
- Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.
