Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
Strawberry Filling
  • 2 pounds strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream cold
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare Biscuit Dough
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour and baking powder, mixing just until combined.
  4. Gradually add milk, mixing until a dough forms.
Prepare Strawberry Filling
  1. In a bowl, combine strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into squares.
  2. Place squares on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Prepare Whipped Cream
  1. In a chilled bowl, whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Serve
  1. Layer biscuits with strawberry filling and top with whipped cream.
