Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Meat thermometer
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

Ham

  • 4-6 lb Smoked Bone-In Ham (fully cooked)

Glaze

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice or Apple Juice
  • Optional pineapple slices and maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • Remove the ham from its packaging and place it in the crockpot, fat side up. Trim if necessary to fit.
  • Whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, ground cloves, and pineapple juice until well combined.
  • Pour the glaze evenly over the ham and rub it into the surface for enhanced flavor.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until heated through and internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C). Use a meat thermometer.
  • Optional: Add pineapple slices and maraschino cherries on top during the last 30 minutes. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  • Remove the ham carefully and let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
  • Slice the ham against the grain with a sharp knife and serve warm.

Notes

Use a crockpot liner for easier cleanup. Basting the ham periodically keeps it extra moist. Avoid overcooking to prevent dryness.
