Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the sides.
- Unroll your first tube of dough and press it into the bottom of the pan. Pinch the seams together until you have a solid, buttery sheet.
- In a large bowl, beat your softened cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of dough. In a small bowl, mix a bit of sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle it liberally over the cream cheese.
- Carefully unroll the second tube of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese.
- Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. You are looking for a gentle golden brown on top.
- Let the bars cool completely at room temperature. For the best results, chill them in the fridge for an hour before icing.
- Whisk together your powdered sugar and milk until you have a thick but pourable glaze. Drizzle it over the cooled bars. Immediately, while the glaze is wet, add your stripes of purple, green, and gold sugar.

Notes
These bars are quite decadent on their own, but they play well with others. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
