Instructions
Place the diced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the ground turkey to the slow cooker and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Pour in the fire-roasted diced tomatoes, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Stir occasionally and break up the turkey as needed.
When done, stir and adjust seasonings to taste. Serve with your choice of taco shells or lettuce cups.
Notes
This recipe can be customized with toppings like avocado, cilantro, lime crema, or cheese for added flavor!
