Ingredients
  

  • Ground turkey
  • Black beans
  • Taco seasoning
  • Bell peppers
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Tomato paste
  • Lime juice
  • Tortillas

Method
 

  1. Sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic in a skillet until softened.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with taco seasoning.
  3. Stir in black beans, tomato paste, and taco seasoning. Simmer until everything is mixed together.
  4. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and stir.
  5. Warm tortillas by lightly charring them in a dry skillet.
  6. Assemble tacos by filling tortillas with turkey and black bean mixture, then add your favorite toppings.
  7. For the slow cooker method: Combine all ingredients except lime and tortillas in the crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Notes
