Prepare the Chocolate
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each session until smooth and glossy.
- Add a drop of red or pink food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir well.
Dip the Oreos
- Take one Oreo and submerge it halfway or fully into the melted chocolate using a fork or a dipping tool.
- Lift the cookie and gently tap your wrist to let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
- Place the dipped cookie onto the prepared parchment paper.
- While the chocolate is still wet, immediately garnish with your favorite Valentine sprinkles.
- Repeat the process for the remaining cookies. If the chocolate begins to harden, simply pop it back in the microwave for 10 seconds.
Set and Serve
- Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or place them in the refrigerator for 10 minutes for a quick set.
- Once set, serve the Dipped Oreo Valentine Cookies on a platter and enjoy!
