- Place the chicken breasts evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce (or tamari), minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken breasts making sure they are fully covered.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
- Shred the cooked chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks, then let it sit in the sauce for 10-15 minutes to absorb more flavor.
- Whisk together cornstarch and cold water to make a slurry, pour it into the slow cooker, stir well, and switch the slow cooker to high. Let the sauce thicken for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the Dump Go Honey Garlic Chicken over rice, noodles, quinoa, or preferred base. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
