Ingredients
  

Peach Filling

  • 4-5 cups diced peaches fresh, canned (drained), or frozen (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cake Topping

  • 15.25 oz yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted butter unsalted
  • 1/2 cup milk whole or buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine diced peaches, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir to coat peaches evenly.
  • Pour peach mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • In another bowl, combine cake mix and melted butter until crumbly. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  • Spoon batter evenly over peach mixture. Do not fully cover; leave some peaches exposed.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and peach filling is bubbly.
