Easy Chicken Parmesan Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These cheesy, bite-sized sliders combine crispy chicken, savory marinara, and three cheeses on buttery Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for game day, potlucks, or a quick family dinner, they bake up into a pull-apart crowd-pleaser that’s ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

Base
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (12-count package) connected sheet
Filling
  • 1 lb cooked chicken sliced; use rotisserie, breaded tenders, or cutlets
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce divided
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4-6 slices provolone cheese optional
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese divided
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • pinch salt
Garnish
  • fresh basil or parsley optional

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish,
  • Small mixing bowl
  • pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the bottom halves connected. Place the bottom half in the prepared dish.
  3. Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce over the bottom rolls.
  4. Lay provolone slices (if using) over the sauce.
  5. Arrange cooked chicken pieces evenly over the cheese.
  6. Spoon remaining marinara sauce over the chicken.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan.
  8. Replace the top half of the rolls.
  9. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and a pinch of salt. Brush generously over the tops and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
  10. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  11. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
