Ingredients
  

Brownies
  • 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients listed on box (usually eggs, oil, water)
Eyeball Decorations
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips for melting and creating the eyeballs
  • 12 candy eyes one per brownie
  • 1 tsp red gel food coloring for bloodshot effect
  • chocolate frosting optional, for extra decadence

Method
 

  1. Prepare brownie batter according to box instructions. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake as directed, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
  3. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  4. Dip the top of each brownie into the melted white chocolate, or use a spoon to spread it evenly on top.
  5. Place a candy eye in the center of each white chocolate-covered brownie.
  6. Dip a toothpick in red gel food coloring and use it to create a bloodshot effect around each candy eye.
  7. Allow the white chocolate to set completely before serving.
