Ingredients
  

Punch Base

  • 6 cups cranberry juice
  • 6 cups ginger ale or lemon-lime soda or sparkling water or diet ginger ale as alternative
  • 1 cup pineapple juice can be substituted with green apple juice for Poison Apple Punch
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 glove frozen water-filled disposable glove latex or food-safe plastic, frozen for at least 24 hours

Optional Garnishes

  • fresh fruit slices (orange, lime, cranberries, grapes) for garnish
  • gummy worms, gummy eyeballs, or other spooky candies for added flair
  • 1 cup vodka or rum optional for adult version

Substitutions & Variations

  • apple juice, grape juice, or pomegranate juice can substitute some or all of the cranberry, pineapple, or orange juices
  • agave nectar or simple syrup to adjust sweetness
  • red food coloring to drip down glove before freezing for a bloody effect
  • frozen fruit pieces (grapes, cranberries, orange slices) to keep punch cold without diluting

Instructions
 

  • Fill a disposable glove with water and tie it securely with a rubber band or string. Place in the freezer overnight or preferably 24 hours until fully frozen.
  • In a large punch bowl or drink dispenser, combine cranberry juice, ginger ale (or lemon-lime soda), pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice. Stir well. If using alcohol, add vodka or rum at this stage and mix.
  • Add fresh fruit slices like orange, lime, cranberries, and grapes to the punch for garnish and flavor.
  • Include gummy worms, gummy eyeballs, or other Halloween candies for extra spooky flair.
  • Remove the frozen glove from the freezer. Run it under warm water briefly, then peel the glove off carefully to reveal the frozen hand.
  • Place the frozen hand carefully into the punch bowl so it floats on top, creating a spooky centerpiece.
  • Ladle punch into glasses including some fruit and candy garnishes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Freeze the hand at least 24 hours ahead to ensure it's completely solid. For a bloody effect, drip red food coloring onto the glove before freezing. Use frozen fruit slices instead of ice cubes to keep the punch cold without diluting the flavor. For an adult version, add vodka or rum gradually to taste. Try variations like Poison Apple Punch with green apple juice and green food coloring or use sparkling cider for a kid-friendly twist.
