  • Eggs, oil, and water or milk Add as required by brownie mix or recipe

Decorations

  • Green frosting Can use pre-made or tint white frosting with green food coloring
  • Candy eyes Find in baking aisle or online
  • Chocolate sprinkles or jimmies For Frankenstein's hair
  • Chocolate chips or candy melts Black or dark colors, for the bolts on his neck

Instructions

  • Bake the Brownies: Prepare the brownie batter according to your recipe or the box instructions. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool Completely: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before frosting. This is crucial for avoiding a melty mess!
  • Frost the Brownies: Once cooled, spread a generous layer of green frosting over the top of the brownies.
  • Decorate with Eyes: Gently press two candy eyes onto each brownie square.
  • Add Hair: Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles or jimmies above the eyes to create Frankenstein's signature hair.
  • Attach Bolts: Melt the chocolate chips or candy melts. Use a toothpick or piping bag to add two small dots of melted chocolate on either side of Frankenstein's face near the bottom of each brownie. Let cool to harden.
  • Cut and Serve: Cut the brownies into squares and serve. Enjoy your spooky Frankenstein Brownies!

Notes

Feel free to customize the decorations with your favorite candies. Using parchment paper to line the pan helps remove brownies easily. Don't overbake to keep them fudgy. Chill frosting if too soft. Try vegan or gluten-free mixes for dietary variations.
