Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions on the box.
- Gently fold in the funfetti sprinkles to the brownie batter without overmixing.
- Pour the funfetti brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- Melt the white chocolate with the milk or heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or Ziploc bag with a small corner snipped off.
- Pipe concentric circles of white chocolate on top of the cooled brownies, starting from the center and working outward.
- Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center outwards to create a spiderweb effect around the circles.
- Mix a tiny amount of black gel food coloring with a tablespoon of the remaining melted white chocolate to create a dark gray color.
- Optionally, use another piping bag to trace some of the spiderweb lines with the tinted chocolate for accentuation.
- Chill the brownies in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to set.
- Slice into squares and serve.
