- Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels to ensure proper browning.
- Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces. Season the chicken with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Pour the garlic butter sauce over the seasoned chicken pieces in a medium bowl. Toss well to evenly coat each piece.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Remove from heat. If desired, stir in lemon juice and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Garnish generously with fresh parsley.
