  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet,
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels to ensure proper browning.
  2. Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces. Season the chicken with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the seasoned chicken pieces in a medium bowl. Toss well to evenly coat each piece.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
