Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces of naan bread store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of your choice pepperoni, roasted vegetables, fresh basil, olives, etc.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes optional, for added heat

Method
 

  1. Preheat Your Oven
  2. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven during preheating for a crispier base.
  3. Prepare Your Naan
  4. Brush the naan with a thin layer of olive oil on both sides. This helps the bread crisp up in the oven and adds a lovely depth of flavor.
  5. Add the Sauce
  6. Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce (or any alternative you prefer like pesto or BBQ sauce) evenly over the naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle on Cheese
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella or any blend of cheese you love. You could mix things up by adding some fresh mozzarella slices or even a bit of parmesan for extra flavor.
  9. Load Up the Toppings
  10. Here’s where you can get creative! Add your favorite toppings—whether it’s classic pepperoni, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, or even gourmet options like prosciutto and arugula. Don’t forget a sprinkle of dried oregano or Italian seasoning to tie the flavors together.
  11. Bake Your Naan Pizza
  12. Place the prepared naan pizzas directly on the oven rack (or on a pizza stone if using) and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden brown.
  13. Garnish and Serve
  14. Once out of the oven, feel free to top with fresh herbs like basil or a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor. Slice and serve immediately!
