Method
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and taco seasoning. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the refried beans evenly across the bottom of a large serving dish or platter.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the refried beans.
- Add the sour cream.
- Spread salsa evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
- Arrange the sliced black olives to resemble "dirt" or scattered debris.
- Insert the triangle tortilla chips vertically into the dip to resemble tombstones.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions around the "tombstones" and edges of the dip. You can add lettuce too!
- Cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve cold with extra tortilla chips for scooping.
