Ingredients
  

Eggs
  • 6 large eggs hard-boiled
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • to taste salt
Black food coloring
  • few drops black food coloring for color
Garnishes
  • to taste paprika for garnish
  • 6 slices black olives sliced for garnish

Method
 

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove and cool.
  2. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks and add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add a few drops of black food coloring to the yolk mixture, stirring until the color is evenly distributed.
  5. Pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish and place a slice of olive on each egg to create a 'spooky eye' effect.
