Method

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Slice the chicken breasts or tenders into thin cutlets, about 1/4 inch thick, roughly the size of your slider buns. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, blackened seasoning, and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 2 minutes per side until mostly cooked through. Alternatively, preheat oven to 400°F and bake on a sheet for 10-12 minutes. Set aside.
Cook the Bacon
  1. Cook bacon slices in a skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble or cut.
Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, and white vinegar if using. Set aside, reserving about 1/4 for serving.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Glaze
  1. In a bowl, melt the butter and stir in minced garlic and dried parsley.
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the package of slider buns horizontally to create top and bottom halves, keeping them attached.
  2. Place the bottom halves in a 9x13 baking dish. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on them.
  3. Layer the cooked chicken evenly over the mayonnaise.
  4. Drizzle two-thirds of the honey mustard sauce over the chicken.
  5. Top with cheese slices or shredded cheese, then add the crumbled bacon.
Bake
  1. Place the top buns back on. Brush generously with garlic butter glaze.
  2. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake 3-5 more minutes until cheese melts, buns are golden.
Add Toppings and Serve
  1. Immediately after baking, lift top buns and add tomato slices and lettuce. Replace tops, slice apart, and serve with reserved honey mustard sauce.
