  • 1 tsp Fresh parsley or Italian seasoning dried or chopped

Equipment

Method

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry. Season generously on all sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and optional blackened seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F internal temperature. Remove and set aside to rest.
Make the Honey Mustard Glaze
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, vinegar or lemon juice, and garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Coat the seasoned chicken with half of the glaze in the warm skillet or a bowl, tossing gently.
Assemble and Bake the Sliders
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice slider buns horizontally. Place bottoms in a 9x13 baking dish and top with cheese quarters.
  2. Add glazed chicken on top of cheese.
  3. Brush melted butter mixed with minced garlic and parsley on the inside of top buns. Place tops on sliders and cover loosely with foil.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are lightly toasted.
Add Toppings and Serve
  1. Remove from oven, lift tops, and add lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on each.
  2. Drizzle remaining honey mustard glaze over toppings or serve on the side.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Store cooked chicken separately from fresh toppings to avoid sogginess. For variations, try spicy additions or grilled chicken. Leftovers keep in fridge for 3-4 days; reheat in oven to maintain texture.
