Preheat and Prep
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and milk or sour cream.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in half of chocolate chips. Pour half batter into pan, drizzle with fudge sauce, then swirl gently.
- Pour remaining batter on top, sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and drizzle with fudge.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in pan for 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
