Method
Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a large baking sheet.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add your ground beef and diced onions. Use a wooden spoon to break the meat apart.
- As the beef browns, sprinkle in your garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, letting the liquid reduce until the meat is glossy and deeply flavored.
- Once the meat is cooked, drain any excess fat and let it cool slightly.
Prepare the Dough and Assemble Rollups
- Roll out your dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle. If using crescent dough, pinch the seams together.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the beef.
- Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Use a sharp serrated knife to cut the log into 12 even slices.
Bake and Serve
- Whisk together your melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush half of this garlic butter sauce over the tops of the rollups.
- Place the rollups cut side up on your prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, brushing on the remaining garlic butter halfway through.
- Once golden brown and the cheese is oozing, remove from the oven and serve with optional toppings.
