Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef 90/10 blend
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang optional
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 2 cups Rice cooked
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds toasted
  • 2 stalks Green Onions sliced
  • 1 cup Kimchi optional

Method
 

Cook the Beef
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, crumbling it with a wooden spoon. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and gochujang or red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture over the beef and stir to combine.
  4. Let the beef simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Assemble the Bowls
  1. Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls. Top each bowl with the beef mixture.
  2. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with a side of kimchi if desired.
