Cereal Base
  • 9 cups Rice Chex or Cinnamon Chex
Chocolate-Peanut Butter Mixture
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips dark chocolate preferred
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter creamy, no oil separation
  • 1 cup Butter unsalted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Coating
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
Candy Melts
  • 1 cup Purple Candy Melts
  • 1 cup Green Candy Melts
  • 1 cup Gold Candy Melts
  • 1 cup Sprinkles festive colors

Method
 

Prepare Cereal
  1. Place cereal in a large bowl.
Melt Mixture
  1. Combine chocolate, peanut butter, and butter in microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between.
Add Vanilla
  1. Stir in vanilla extract.
Coat Cereal
  1. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and fold gently with spatula.
Powdered Sugar
  1. Transfer to plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake until fully coated.
Add Colors
  1. Spread on baking sheet and drizzle with melted candy melts.
Final Steps
  1. Add sprinkles and let set until candy melts harden.
