Prepare the Rolls
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the entire pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls horizontally to create a top half and a bottom half.
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the basket.
- Generously layer the grated sharp cheddar cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves back over the cheese to reform the roll shape.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and dried parsley until well mixed.
- Use a pastry brush to evenly coat the tops of the rolls with the seasoned butter mixture.
- Place the basket into the air fryer and cook at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden and crispy. Check halfway through and adjust time as needed based on your air fryer model.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing along the lines to separate into individual mini sandwiches.

Notes
For best results, use freshly grated cheese for optimal melting. If the rolls are browning too quickly, reduce the temperature slightly. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes to crisp them up.
