  • 8 oz 8 oz brick-style cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 16 oz 16 oz white candy melts or vanilla almond bark
  • a few drops Green gel food coloring adjust to desired vibrancy
  • St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles such as shamrocks, green and gold jimmies

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Hand Mixer or Sturdy Spatula
  • Fork or Dipping Tool

Method

Group 1
  1. Place the entire package of Mint Creme Oreos into a food processor. Pulse until they are crushed into fine crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, place them in a large ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin. The texture should be sandy with no large chunks.
  2. Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a large mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese. Using a hand mixer or sturdy spatula, mix until fully combined into a thick, dough-like ball.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into a smooth 1-inch ball. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all mixture is used.
  4. Place the baking sheet with the balls into the freezer for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
  5. While balls chill, place white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in green gel food coloring to reach desired shade.
  6. Remove chilled balls from freezer. Dip one at a time into melted candy, using a fork to roll and coat fully. Let excess drip off, then place back on parchment.
  7. Immediately after dipping, while coating is wet, add sprinkles. Let set at room temperature or in fridge for 15-20 minutes until firm.
