- 1 package Pillsbury Halloween Shape Cookies Dough (14-17 oz) Use regular sugar cookie dough and cut into shapes if Halloween shapes unavailable
Optional Decorations
- as needed Frosting Store-bought or homemade in Halloween colors
- as desired Sprinkles, edible glitter, or other decorations
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Position oven rack in the center.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the Pillsbury Halloween Shape Cookies on the baking sheet with about 2 inches between each cookie to allow for even baking.
- Bake for 8-11 minutes until edges are lightly golden brown. Keep watch to avoid overbaking.
- Remove from oven and cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, optionally decorate with frosting, sprinkles, edible markers, or melted chocolate as desired.
Notes
For best results, chill dough 5-10 minutes before baking to prevent cookies from spreading. Use piping bags or zip-top bags for frosting details. Spice up the dough with cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for fall flavor. Cookie sandwiches with frosting are a delicious variation.
