Ingredients

  • 1 pound Frozen French Fries
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni sliced
  • 1/4 cup Black Olives sliced, optional
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated
  • Fresh Basil or Parsley for garnish, optional

Equipment

  • oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a large baking sheet. If using fresh potatoes, cut them into uniform sticks, toss them in olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper, and spread them on the baking sheet.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fries from the oven. Spoon the marinara sauce evenly over the top, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Scatter the pepperoni and olives across the top.
  5. Return the pan to the oven for another 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Add fresh basil or parsley if using. Let the fries cool for a minute or two, then serve immediately with extra marinara sauce and ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
