Method
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray for easy cleanup.
- Place the chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the Italian dressing mix and ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken to coat thoroughly.
- Pour the chicken broth around the chicken. If using butter, drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through and easily shreddable.
- Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot once cooked.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
This recipe is easily modifiable: add garlic or lemon for extra flavor, turn it spicy with red pepper flakes, or make a crockpot dump dinner with diced tomatoes and black beans.
