Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Strawberries Fresh, ripe berries
  • 1 box Crackers Salty crackers or pretzels
  • 1 cup Nuts Toasted almonds or walnuts
  • 1 cup Dairy Crumbled feta cheese or yogurt
  • 1 bunch Greenery Fresh mint and basil
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 pinch Salt

Method
 

Prepare the Berries
  1. Gently wash the strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove the green tops and slice them into quarters. Place them in a large glass bowl.
Create the Crackle
  1. Place the crackers in a sealable bag and give them a light crush. Set them aside in a separate bowl.
Toast the Nuts
  1. Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add the nuts and toast them for about three minutes until they release a nutty fragrance.
Whisk the Dressing
  1. In a small jar, combine honey, balsamic vinaigrette, and a pinch of salt. Shake it well until emulsified.
Combine the Herbs
  1. Finely chiffonade the mint and basil. Add them to the bowl with the strawberries.
The Final Toss
  1. Drizzle the dressing over the berries and herbs. Toss gently. Finally, sprinkle the crackle mixture and toasted nuts over the top.
