Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls 12.4 oz can
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • red food coloring or red gel food coloring
  • strawberry or raspberry jam optional for extra 'blood'

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) according to the cinnamon roll package instructions.
  • Arrange the cinnamon rolls in a brain-like shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave small gaps between rolls for better baking.
  • Bake the cinnamon rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the cinnamon rolls bake, prepare the frosting by beating together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  • Add red food coloring to the frosting until you achieve the desired brain color.
  • Once the rolls are cool enough to handle, pipe the frosting onto the rolls to create the ridges of a brain.
  • If desired, drizzle strawberry or raspberry jam over the cinnamon roll brains for an extra spooky 'blood' effect.
