  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in Hershey’s chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes for best results.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are slightly soft.
  10. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
