Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Bites
  • 1 box fudgy brownie mix
For the Bubbling Witch's Brew Frosting
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting store bought or homemade
  • Green food coloring food coloring
  • Yellow food coloring food coloring
For the Cauldron Decorations
  • 1 package mini pretzel sticks for the stirrers
  • 1 bag Halloween themed sprinkles nonpareils, small candy balls in green, purple, or yellow
  • 1 package candy eyes optional, for extra spookiness

Equipment

  • Mini Muffin Tin
  • Measuring Teaspoon
  • Small Pestle or Spoon
  • - Mixing bowls
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions.
  2. Generously grease a 24 cup mini muffin tin.
  3. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions.
  4. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  5. While the brownies are still hot and soft, use the back of a measuring teaspoon to press an indentation into the center of each bite.
  6. Let the brownie bites cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Mix vanilla frosting with a few drops of green and a tiny drop of yellow food coloring to achieve a vibrant witchy green hue.
  8. Spoon or pipe the green frosting into the indentation of each brownie bite.
  9. Sprinkle Halloween sprinkles over the top to create a bubbling effect.
  10. Insert a mini pretzel stick in half into the side of the frosting to look like a stirring stick.
  11. Optional: Place candy eyes in the 'brew' for extra spookiness.
  12. Allow the frosting to set for about 30 minutes before serving.
