- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined. The dough will be thick.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- Immediately after removing the cookies from the oven, gently press a Hershey's Kiss onto the center of each cookie. The heat will slightly melt the bottom of the Kiss, helping it adhere.
- Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheets.
- Once the cookies are completely cool, use the decorating icing to create a band around the base of each Hershey's Kiss, resembling a witch hat brim. You can get creative with icing color and add sprinkles if desired.
- These Witch Hat Cookies are now ready to be devoured!
