Ingredients

Chocolate Cake Mix

1 box chocolate cake mix use store-bought or homemade

Pudding Layers

1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups milk for the pudding

Whipped Cream

1/2 cup whipped topping store-bought or homemade
4 drops green food coloring to color the whipped topping

Toppings

Halloween candy gummy worms, candy eyeballs, M&Ms, etc.
1/2 cup Oreos crushed, to resemble dirt

Method

Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Bake, let cool completely, and then crumble or cut into small cubes.
Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with milk according to package instructions and allow it to set for a few minutes.
In individual jars, layer the crumbled cake, pudding, and crushed Oreos. Repeat layers as desired.
Add green food coloring to the whipped cream and top the jars with it.
Decorate the jars with Halloween candy like gummy worms, candy eyeballs, and sprinkles.
Refrigerate the jars for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
