Ingredients
  

Chocolate Cake Mix

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix use store-bought or homemade

Pudding Layers

  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk for the pudding

Whipped Cream

  • 1/2 cup whipped topping store-bought or homemade
  • 4 drops green food coloring to color the whipped topping

Toppings

  • Halloween candy gummy worms, candy eyeballs, M&Ms, etc.
  • 1/2 cup Oreos crushed, to resemble dirt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Bake, let cool completely, and then crumble or cut into small cubes.
  • Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with milk according to package instructions and allow it to set for a few minutes.
  • In individual jars, layer the crumbled cake, pudding, and crushed Oreos. Repeat layers as desired.
  • Add green food coloring to the whipped cream and top the jars with it.
  • Decorate the jars with Halloween candy like gummy worms, candy eyeballs, and sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate the jars for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
