Prepare the Chicken
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken strips, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
- Heat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Make the Cheese Sauce
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Assemble the Wraps
- Warm the flour tortillas according to package instructions.
- Spread a generous amount of the cheese sauce onto each tortilla.
- Layer the cooked chicken strips, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded carrots on top of the cheese sauce.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll it up tightly. Place the wrapped tortillas seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the wraps are heated through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
